Manufacturing

Plan, run and cost production from one screen

Multi-level BOMs, routings, MRP, work orders and shop-floor tracking, so planners and operators work from the same live plan.

How manufacturing works, day to day

  1. 1PlanMRP turns orders into what to make and buy.
  2. 2ScheduleWork orders placed on machines and shifts.
  3. 3MakeOperators log progress and scrap on tablets.
  4. 4CostActual material and labour cost per order.

What manufacturing covers

Everything below is included and shares data with the rest of Unitrix.

Multi-level BOMs and routings

Versioned bills of material with operations, work centres and standard times.

MRP

Explodes demand into what to make and what to buy, with dates.

Capacity planning

See load by machine and shift, and drag work orders to rebalance.

Shop-floor terminal

Operators start, pause and complete jobs and record scrap from a tablet.

Subcontracting

Send material out for job work and track it until it comes back.

Actual costing

Material, labour and overhead collected per work order, compared with standard.

Manufacturing questions

What teams ask before moving manufacturing onto Unitrix.

Still have a question?

Ask Trix and we will answer it live, on your own processes, in a demo.

01Does it support make-to-order and make-to-stock?

Both. You can mix make-to-order, make-to-stock and assemble-to-order on the same plant.

02Can we start small and add more later?

Yes. Many customers start with sales, purchase and inventory, then add manufacturing, HR or assets. Everything shares the same database, so nothing needs re-integrating.

03How long does implementation take?

It depends on the scope and the data you bring. Your plan, with dates for each phase, is agreed before the project starts, and most teams go live in phases rather than all at once.

04Can you migrate data from Tally, spreadsheets or our current ERP?

Yes. We extract masters, opening balances and open transactions, clean duplicates, load them into a test environment and reconcile every balance with you before go-live.
